Beadlock Tire Mounting Instructions

First: Un-bolt all 32 bolts from the bead lock ring and remove the ring from the wheel.

Next, push the tire down over rim. No machinery is needed, simple hand pressure will suffice.

The next thing you want to do is center the tire outer bead over the inner lock ring. Place the outer bead-locking ring over tire. Our outer lock ring actually fits the tire bead!

Start 4 bolts at the 12 O'clock, 6, 3 & 9 O'clock positions. Snug all 4 down evenly a little at a time in a cross pattern until the lock ring "sucks" down into the tire bead. This will allow the tire and lock ring to center on the wheel. We have seen beadlock designs where the lock ring does not properly fit the bead of the tire. On these, the tire bead under the ring wants to squirm, making it a real pain to get the whole thing centered and evenly bolted down. These lock rings fit and are a cinch.

NOTE: If bolts seem too short: They are not. Use 4 longer bolts to get the ring started. The ring will SUCK DOWN into the bead area of the tire. Then the bolts supplied will work fine. remember to replace the four longer bolts with the Grade 8 bolts supplied once you have the rest of the bolts started.

Thread in the 28 remaining bolts.

Snug down a few bolts on one side, then cross over and do a few, then a different side, and so on, snugging bolts down in about 3 stages of tightness. Final bolt tightness should be set with a torque wrench at 15 ft-lbs. Do not over-tighten. (The Impact  wrench we are using has a calibrated regulator to accurately set torque)
Note:  For vehicles over 6,000 lbs. run tire pressure at 25 psi to avoid bolt breakage.  Vehicles that are 6,000 lbs. or less you can run tire pressure up to 30 psi.
